About

I have written Java backends for twenty years and led delivery teams for fifteen of them, mostly on systems where being wrong is expensive.

What I actually do is own things end to end - architecture and design, the implementation, CI/CD, the release, and the support call afterwards. That last part is why this site reads the way it does. Once you have been woken up by a system you designed yourself, you stop accepting claims that arrive without a number attached, including your own.

This site

Static HTML on Cloudflare, served by a Worker with static assets. No analytics, no cookies, no third-party requests of any kind - the fonts are self-hosted and the images are local. The only script is about twenty lines that stop the carousel from jerking the page around, and it is an enhancement: block it and everything still works. If you would rather check than take my word for it, the page source is short and that is the entire idea.
